You don't say what sort of bay window. Is it curved or rectangular?Anyway what I'm trying to say can you see the top of the window frame? Is it made of wood or metal? If the answer is yes, then you can buy a plastic 'bendy' track which will go round the curve in a bow window. Or you can get a continuous track for a rectangular bay window. If there isn't a wood frame ast the top, you will need to find where the wood dwangs behind the wall are. With a stud finder, and then ask your curtain shop for the suitable fittings for your type of wall, , and the type of brackets for your curtain track.Space the brakets on top of those dwangs, and then fit the track.

Hi.. I would fix to the wall above if possible, especially if your windows are new as drilling into the pvc can invalidate your warranty! The brackets will have at least an inch clearance and you can buy extenders (or fit a baton) if you need the curtains to hang below the sill. Most good curtain shops will have a reputable fitter they could recommend who would do this for you for next to nothing if you're unsure. Hope that helps!
