I have a ten year old boiler with the same syptoms and have been advised that it may be 'on its way out' and if their engineer attends site and this is the case, they won't charge - the doown side is that I'll have to buy a new one :o(

Could be nothing more severe than a dicky DHW microswitch, or it could be the diverter valve (less likely if it the CH is on with no DHW demand). If the radiators stay hot in 'summer mode' then see if turning the hot water temperature down makes the radiators run cooler; if so quite possible the DHW sensing switch thinks there is demand for hot water when there isnt.
With a Vokera approved bod you might get someone familiar with the model and its typical faults, who has the parts to hand. Otherwise it is pot luck, you may get a plausible but expensive monkey who replaces expensive parts until the fault goes away without reading the manual or thinking, or actually understanding what was wrong... or you might get someone smart fast and efficient (if you are lucky)

Advantage of calling makers is if parts are required they should have them on board
