never assume mike,if its a monitored system, then it will be engineer reset only,as required by regs, and it will cost the customer a call out charge to reset the panel (even if its done remotely)

Hit it?
You need a new battery.
Because you have never had it checked in years and do not want to spend the money, so you ask here.
A simple search would have found ypur answer, like the one that found you here.
Tip for others, once you have found a "answers" site, look for your answer rather than ask the SAME FOOKIN QUESTION WE HAVE HEARD 50000 times before.
You really do need a new 7ah battery 12vdc available from your local Maplin for a great deal more than professionals pay for them.

Thanks, I've done that but it's still flashing. I assume it's telling me that the power supply has been interrupted but I don't know how to stop the flashing. Could I try anything else?
