Lifting the caravan carpet?

I have had a small leak in my reich pelikan tap and the water has run down the waste pipe and underneath the base of the washbasin cabinet, this has left the carpet noticeably wet. I have tried drying it out with heating on overnight but i am a bit concerned that this might not be as effective at completely drying the carpet and floor beneath. I have considered lifting the carpet in the washroom to inspect fully but it is really well fixed at the edges and wondered if there was an easy way of lifting without tearing the carpet. any advice would be greatly appreciated

Put a dehumidifier on for a couple of days. If you dont own one then rent one. That will take all the moisture out of the caravan including any in the carpet or between the floor and carpet. Check it regularly and you'll be surprised just how much water it will take up.
PS Also great for drying clothes on a rack in the bathroom if your tumble dryer breaks down.

Decorator hot air gun low setting but place something between the heat and any plastic fittings.
Hair dryer on full heat played on to the wet carpet, again watch plasitic fittings/trims etc. The only other way do away with the carpet and lay mats
