Contact your Insurance company for a replacement.

The humm could come from water still on the circuit board. The best thing is to put a fan on the back for a couple of hours to make sure it is completely dry. Then turn it on again. If it works, you are welcome. If not, there is one more trick, unplug your TV and check your fuses in the back by the power supply. Replace if necessary. If it still don't work then you Circuit board could be blown... It could be a chip that was fried, a diode gone bad, or the power supply burned up...
