One small oversight - the deck clutch assembly has a slot that must be aligned with a guide pin that comes down from the frame, be sure to lign it up so that the clutch doesn't slam and bang into things, causing damage. It's there to stabilise the clutch, and keep the whole wretched mess from turning.

If this is like one I just worked on for a neighbor - you have a small pulley next to the upper pulley on the engine shaft. The lower pulley is on an electric clutch assembly and runs the mower deck. This clutch is removed to gain access by removing a 5/8's head bolt from the shaft and pulling it straight down.
There is a fork on the brake pedal linkage with a cotter pin holding a pin in place that must also be removed, because the belt must be slipped between them.
The back of the belt goes around the axle pulley, then where it comes over the top (TOP!) of the pulley, it goes under the tensioner pulley - which must be pushed upwards against the spring that holds it. The belt then goes over the top of a small pulley just in front of there, forward and around the engine pulley and small guide pulley, and then crosses under the tractor to the rear pulley again, making about a half twist.
If you have it in the right spot - you can feel for rubbed spots where the belt passes close to the frame and other parts to confirm that it is exactly where it used to be.
