Light works, Freezer works, but main frudge part is not working...?

We have a Zanussi Electrolux 'KBFM252' Refridgerator.
The problem is with the main refridgerator part which remains room temperature, warm, whilst the light remains working.
The freezer works and keeps food frozen.
The outer part of the fridge sounds as if it is on, but stay at a constant vibration without ever cutting out.
It may be a problem with the comprsessor over heating, or the thermostate in the main part of the refridgerator not functioning, however, it is difficult to access behind the themostat as it is a small thermostat.

Please shed whatever light on this product, so that we may be able to get it to work again.

Many Thanks in advance,

if its a frost free..switch it of for 24 hours and leave door open, this should completely defrost unit...

most frost free over freeze in freezer compartment, which stop fan from blowing cold air up to fridge..

if this works for a short while, and prob re-occurs you will need an engineer to check appliance for defrost sensors etc..
