I have a PVC jacket that has a small tear on it. The jacket has a 1 mm or so thick PVC shell with some sort of backing beneath which is in tact. The split is located on the tip of the collar (ie the bit where it folds over, its not on a flat surface). It is a tiny split without any real width to it but given its location on the jacket, seems likely to lengthen if not repaired. Is there any way I can repair the tear or prevent it from splitting further?
There are some adhesives for dressmaking repaires ,you may find it best to use one of these, just cover surface that is split or worn and leave to dry, hope this has been helpful
